Bessie, Tim and Waco (their little brown dog) have been farming since 2006. Since then, they have worked on farms in Texas, Utah, and Colorado. In 2013, they started Brown Dog Farm in Golden, CO because they are passionate about cultivating their soil and growing amazing food for their community. In 2017, they added their son, Wendell, to their farm family! The 2019 season brought more change to their farm as they moved their growing from Golden up to Longmont. And in 2021, they welcomed their daughter, Wren, to the operation and welcomed a new pup, Winter, to the crew!
