Hummingbird Farm
City: Arvada, CO,

About Us
GoFarm’s new Farmer Training Center in Arvada: Hummingbird Farm (Granja Colibrí)! A place where GoFarm's Incubator Farmers have an opportunity to learn by getting their hands dirty on their own plots within this 2.5 acre farm. Having Hummingbird Farm as our Farmer Training Center is a key component of training beginning farmers, as land access is a major barrier to farming.

Hummingbirds are revered as symbols of healing, joy, and adaptation in indigenous cultures of the Americas. At GoFarm, we believe that we have a responsibility to protect, preserve, and replenish the earth. Part of this work is healing soils through regenerative farming techniques.

Fun Facts: Broad Tailed Hummingbirds and Black-Chinned Hummingbirds are native to Colorado. Rufous Hummingbirds will migrate through the state in late June and July. As pollinators, hummingbirds play an important role in supporting plant biodiversity and reproduction.
